The name's Evil Overlady FM, and don't wear it out... I first got hooked on the series when I saw the ending of "New Family Part 2" when it was rerunning. I then caught most of "Bird of Paradise" but didn't start recording anything till "Web Site" or there abouts... Then, I saw the movie....

Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich have created quite a few of my favorite movies (Stargate and Independence Day rank pretty up in order). I even liked Stargate *more* than Star Wars, believe it or not. I just thought the whole culture clash and the military/scientist relationship was *well* done. ...But I digress.

I'll admit I never really watched the old Godzilla movies. The one I remember vividly was when a Godzilla had a young Godzilla and tried to fend off a spider from attacking it. The intelligence of the animal intrigued me all my life. The movie in 1998 and later the series seemed to *me* to express the original intention of the character, an alien yet familiar intelligence. I'm so sorry the show was taken off air. It had so much potential... But with any luck, in this site and in the others it inspires, the show *will* live on. ...and so will Godzilla.
